Dear All,

I had my doctor’s appointment yesterday.   Most of my blood work is back to normal and I am set to go back into the hospital next week.   Today I had an MRI.   We will not have the results until tomorrow, but that will have a great impact on the future of my treatment plan.   I am certainly hoping that the tumors have shrunk letting us know that the chemo is working.   I figure anything that can make me feel this miserable has to be working.   If it is not working, Charlie's internet investigations have led us to other options.   There is another drug being studied with Sarcomas.   I look at this as part of the process, and if I have to change course again, well, that's just what we'll do.

I'm sending you two photos of my paintings.   The first painting is New South Wales, Australia.   This is the painting that I worked on while in the hospital.   The second painting is Shropshire, England.   I started this a few days before the hospital and just got back to it a few days ago.   It's a large one, so it will take a while with all the details.   I hope to get close to finish before the next hospital stay July 19 - 23.

Charlie is very happy NOT to be the chef in the family any longer.   He was much too stressed over the entire issue.   I’m very happy to be back at it. Charlie's even better at shopping now.   He knows to look in the "Mexican" section of the grocery store for Matzoh.   You'll also find wasabi, soy sauce, gefilte fish and jasmine rice in the "Mexican" section of our grocery stores.
